Spot Manatees in the Boat Basin: Biscayne Bay’s calm waters and fresh water supply make it one of the best places in Miami to see manatees. While you’re here, keep an eye out for other marine life such as sea turtles, rays, sharks, and even dolphins!

Historic House Tour at 11:30 a.m.: Take a guided tour through the Richmond Cottage, starting on its Front Porch with the view of Biscayne Bay.

Natural Areas Tour at 12:30 p.m.: Take a guided hike through Deering Estate’s protected natural areas with our naturalist staff. Along the way, learn about native plants and wildlife, and visit the historic Cutler Burial Mound.

Stroll the Mangrove Boardwalk: Enjoy a peaceful walk through a unique ecosystem teeming with diverse wildlife. The boardwalk is open daily for self-guided access.
