In Mizner’s Footsteps: Explore The Legacy, Toast The Vision at the Addison

Boca Raton Historical Society Hosts Centennial Celebration  at the Addison on August 14

BOCA RATON, FL (July, 2025) – In celebration of Boca Raton’s 100th anniversary, the Boca Raton Historical Society will host a special Centennial event, In Mizner’s Footsteps: Explore the Legacy, Toast the Vision, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the historic Addison. This unforgettable evening will pay tribute to Addison Mizner’s original administration buildings—now one of Boca Raton’s most iconic landmarks—while toasting to a century of growth, design, and community.

“This event offers a rare opportunity to step inside one of Boca Raton’s most significant and beautifully preserved architectural sites,” said Mary Csar, Executive Director of the Boca Raton Historical Society. “We’re thrilled to celebrate the city’s history in the very building that helped shape its identity.”

In Mizner’s Footsteps was made possible through a generous $10,000 grant from The Addison as part of its 100 Years, $100K Giving Initiative, created to celebrate the venue’s own centennial year. The grant program awarded funding to 10 local nonprofits to support community-based events and awareness efforts in 2025.

“We’re deeply grateful to The Addison for supporting this meaningful Centennial celebration,” Csar added. “It’s a perfect partnership rooted in shared history and a mutual love for this city.”
