BOCA RATON, FL (July 27, 2026) — Bring a chair, gather some friends and get ready for a musical journey back to 1969. The City of Boca Raton’s free Summer in the City concert series continues Friday, July 31, with Peace of Woodstock Band: A Tribute to the Woodstock Era, bringing the spirit of the legendary festival to Mizner Park Amphitheater. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the concert beginning at 8 p.m.
Peace of Woodstock recreates the famous three-day festival of peace, music and love that defined a generation, taking audiences on a journey from the acoustic opening set of Richie Havens through the explosive, electric sounds of Jimi Hendrix. The show also features music from Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Who, Janis Joplin, Sly and the Family Stone, Joe Cocker, Arlo Guthrie, Country Joe McDonald, Santana, Jefferson Airplane and other iconic acts of the era, performed by musicians dressed and styled to transport guests straight back to the original festival grounds.
The Woodstock tribute is one of the final free events in this year’s Summer in the City series, which continues in the heart of Downtown Boca through early August. The series wraps up the following week with the return of Boca Raton’s popular Battle of the Bands.
