This stylish and spirited event will combine the excitement of the Kentucky Derby with a meaningful cause: raising scholarship funds for graduating high school seniors through the Delray Beach Rotary Fund. As the city’s second oldest nonprofit, the Delray Beach Rotary has proudly awarded more than 750 scholarships over the years, empowering the next generation of leaders. Doing good, feels good !
Guests will enjoy a live screening of the Derby on four large TVs amid an exhilarating party atmosphere.
Expect complimentary valet, and a grand entrance through a rose-adorned arch into a stunning white tent filled with twinkling lights.
Chef Tim of Palm Beach will serve up mouthwatering Derby-inspired dishes, including Barbecue Beef Brisket Sliders, Coconut Shrimp, and Rosemary Roasted Lollipop Lamb Chops, paired with signature drinks like Mint Juleps, Old Fashioneds, and a Bourbon tasting experience.
The Rotary’s commitment to education runs deep. In addition to scholarships for over 30 years, they’ve distributed free dictionaries to local third-grade students—often the first book a child can truly call their own. With more than half of local K–3 students currently reading below grade level, the Club’s mission is more critical than ever. City and County leaders, including Delray Beach Mayor Tom Carney, are championing efforts to improve literacy and educational outcomes, making this event a timely opportunity to give back.
