Delray Beach, FL (January, 2022) … It’s time to make your reservations for the 13th annual Savor the Avenue on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 5:30 p. m.!
The coolest culinary experience in South Florida begins February 1, 2022 when menus and reservation information are available at www.DowntownDelrayBeach.com/SavortheAvenue. Join hundreds of guests—and 15 of Downtown Delray’s finest restaurants—at Florida’s longest dining table, one that runs more than five blocks and 1,300 feet long stretching from Swinton Avenue east to Fifth Avenue (U.S. 1). This amazing evening of dining under the stars and down the double yellow line of famed Atlantic Avenue is the food and wine event of the year you don’t want to miss!
This year’s participating restaurants are Avalon, Cabana El Rey, Caffe Luna Rosa, City Oyster & Sushi Bar, Death or Glory, Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Lemongrass Asian Bistro, Rack’s Fish House & Oyster Bar and Gary Rack’s Farmhouse Kitchen, Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine, Rocco’s Tacos, Rose’s Daughter, Salt 7, The Office, and Vic & Angelo’s. Reservations are made with the restaurants directly, and seating is limited.
Savor the Avenue is a Delray Beach culinary tradition created and produced by Delray and Boca Magazine’s partnership with the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA), to highlight the variety of fine dining establishments located throughout downtown. “The Delray Beach DDA is pleased to announce that a portion of all tickets sold will benefit the Emanuel Jackson Sr. Project (EJS), a “boots on the ground,” community-based not-for-profit organization in Delray Beach with the goal to build and empower tomorrow’s leaders, and rooted in the desire to see every teen succeed regardless of their zip code,” said Laura Simon, Executive Director, Delray Beach DDA.
For the ninth year, Savor the Avenue restaurant participants will be competing for the “Best in Show” table. From elegant to eclectic, a unique theme is staged through the table settings to highlight a special style or cuisine. A judging panel will score the tables to award three top prizes for best table décor.
