Boca Raton, FL – The Shuzz Fund, a non-profit organization that provides shoes and medical relief to children in poverty-stricken areas, today announced tickets are on sale for its VI Annual SHUZZ | ART | FASHION Show. The much anticipated yearly event will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
The VI SHUZZ | ART | FASHION Show will feature a 40 foot red carpet for all guests, VIP lounge, silent and live auction, and a fashion show from designer Veronica Beard. Hosted by the Title Sponsor Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, the event is also made possible by Presenting Sponsor Neiman Marcus Boca Raton and returning sponsor Celebrity Cruises.
This is the sixth consecutive year that the Shuzz Fund is hosting the art and fashion show. With support from dozens of local businesses and large corporations, the Shuzz Fund sets out to raise the majority of its yearly funds to be able to donate shoes to children who need them the most in this world. The event fuels Shuzz programs: Back 2 School, Youth Athletics, International Distributions, and Medical Outreach.
Tickets are now on sale for the event. VIP tickets include several perks not available to all guests: early access to the red carpet and VIP lounge with complimentary bar and passed hor d’oeuvres. VIP guests will also enjoy premium seating and views for the double runway fashion show. General passes include general access to the event and silent auction. For the second year, Shuzz has set its sights on raising $250,000 – 100% of which will be used for shoe donations and medical relief efforts. “I am so proud that this event is in its sixth year. Our charity has grown so much over the last few years, and we’ve brought some tremendous assets on to our team of volunteers, board and committee members,” said Rita Lombardo, Founder, Shuzz Fund. “We are setting our goal big again this year and we hope to be able to surpass it so that we can give more shoes and medical relief to the children who need our help. We will continue trying to expand our reach until every child in this world has a comfortable pair of shoes that will protect them from injury and disease.”
