Rebuilding Together Broward’s Black Dresses and Blueprints: Celebrating Women in Construction

Who/What:
Rebuilding Together Broward County, a nonprofit organization that brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners, is hosting its third annual “Black Dresses & Blueprints,” a cocktail reception and awards ceremony celebrating women in the construction industry. The event will recognize outstanding women who are leaders within and have made an impact in the construction industry and their community.
Honorees will include Casie Idle, Vice President Business Development of I D & Design International; Dominique McNeil, Assistant Project Manager of The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company; and Robyn Raphael-Dynan, President of RCC Associates. Huguette St. Hubert will be honored with the Young Rebuilder Award.
Those in attendance will include companies and individuals in construction-related industries and local leaders and influencers. The fundraising objective of the event is $100,000. Cocktail attire is preferred.
Sponsorships are available and range from $500–$10,000. About Rebuilding Together Broward County
Since 2003, Rebuilding Together Broward County has rehabilitated more than 1,500 homes and community centers, investing more than $9 million into the community. The nonprofit organization brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. Targeting low-income elderly and disabled homeowners, as well as veterans, Rebuilding Together Broward seeks to improve health outcomes through housing activities such as home repairs, safety modifications and energy retrofits at no cost to the homeowners.
