Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary (PBM+C), presented by Art Miami, returns for its sixth edition opening with an exclusive invitation-only VIP Preview benefiting the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens on Thursday, March 23 and running through Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary (PBM+C) is South Florida’s premier and most prestigious winter art fair that takes place during the height of season and is the only “can’t miss” event for all serious collectors, curators, museum directors and interior designers, providing an intimate look at the most important works available for acquisition at the forefront of the international contemporary, modern, classical modern, post-war and pop eras.
PBM+C is the most important fair each winter as it brings a world-class, internationally respected group of 95 galleries and their artists to the discerning and ever growing high net worth audience that has migrated South.
PBM+C will coincide with the world-renowned Palm Beach International Boat Show, located along the waterfront and Flagler Drive in Downtown West Palm Beach, FL. The show will feature more than $1.2 billion worth of yachts and accessories, including hundreds of boats ranging from 8-foot inflatables to super yachts nearly 200 feet in length.

PALM BEACH, FLA. (March 6) – Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary (PBM+C), presented by Art Miami, returns for its
sixth edition Thursday, March 23 through Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. PBM+C
brings world-class, investment-quality works from the 20th and 21st centuries with a roster of internationally respected
galleries from Austria, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Columbia, Venezuela and the United States, to one of
the most culturally savvy and discerning collecting audiences in the world.
The fair will open with an exclusive, invitation-only VIP Preview benefiting the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens on
Thursday, March 23, 2023 and will kick-off with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Palm Beach’s
own Frances Fisher, a renowned philanthropist and advocate for the arts. For the past 25 years, Frances Fisher has been
dedicated to the growth and betterment of the Palm Beach community, and keeping Palm Beach’s connection to the arts
alive. Previous PBM+C Lifetime Achievement Award recipients include photographer Harry Benson, South Florida arts and
culture advocate Rena Blades, artist Bruce Helander, and philanthropist Beth Rudin De Woody. Ann Norton Sculpture
Gardens will once again serve as a satellite venue for the fair and in celebration of Women’s History Month, Long-Sharp
Gallery presents sculptHER, an innovative exhibit featuring works by four female sculptors: Julia Ibbini, Nicole Pietrantoni,
Cha Jong Rye, and Miriam Londoño. The exhibit will debut March 22 through June 2023.
VIP Preview attendees can also enjoy a conversation with Jack Rasmussen, the American University Museum’s Director
and Curator. Rasmussen will be discussing a selection of 20 art works from one of the world’s most acclaimed Chicano
artists, Rupert Garcia. The noteworthy group of works is being presented at the fair by the museum’s Corcoran Legacy
Collection. The collection, which was donated to the museum by the Corcoran Gallery of Art as part of a larger 9,000-
piece gift, will be on view at the fair’s entrance throughout the weekend.

Beginning Friday, March 24, the Fair will open to the public, allowing attendees to discover and view leading international
galleries showcasing an array of world-class, investment-quality works from leading international galleries. The weekend
provides an opportunity for seasoned and budding collectors alike to acquire curated works from blue-chip contemporary,
post-war and modern masters, emerging talent and mid-career artists such as Josef Albers, Elise Ansel, Milton Avery,
Jean-Michel Basquiat, Fernando Botero, Alexander Calder, Lynn Chadwick, Dan Christensen, George Condo, Carlos Cruz

The historic Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 1977 by the prominent
sculptor Ann Weaver Norton (1905-1982). Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 2-acre sanctuary is
comprised of rare palm and sculpture gardens, Ann Norton’s historic home, exhibition galleries and Norton’s own
Wyeth-designed artist studio. Located at 2051 South Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, the Ann Norton
Sculpture Gardens are open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Gardens are also available for private
