Golf Tournament & Lunch by the Ocean for Delray Beach Public Library

Get ready to Tee-It- Up with the Wine Wave, HungBloodies and HungMargs for the 2nd Annual Golf By The Ocean tournament benefitting the Delray Beach Public Library on Saturday, May 21st at the world famous Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course. Golf Digest Magazine has twice voted the course “The Best Par-3 in the U.S. It has also been ranked No. 1 by Golf Magazine among the Top 25 Golf courses in America.
Delray Beach, FL – Delray Beach Public Library will hold its 2nd Annual Golf By the Ocean Tournament and Lunch at the world-renowned Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course, 2345 S Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach. The fun, 18-hole scramble begins with breakfast at 7:30 am, shotgun start at 8:30 am on Saturday, May 21, 2022. On course stations include HungBloodies and Hung Margs and Mimosas by Delray’s own Wine Wave. After golf we will all enjoy lunch on the Clubhouse terrace at Al Fresco where lunch includes a choice of their signature burger or Chicken Caesar Salad.
A committee of Delray Beach Public Library Board Members including Board President Kim Beckett, along with Board members Bill Morse and Colleen Schuhmann along with library supporters Jeanette DeOrchis, Louise Glover, Jan Kucera, Reba Larney, Lola Swanson are heading this year’s tournament. “We are excited to be able to return to this magnificent course that allows players of all levels beautiful views of the intracoastal and ocean, along with Mimosas, Bloody Marys and more will you golf” they said.
The entry fee is $200 per golfer or $800 per foursome and includes cart, green fees, range balls, swag bags, refreshments, lunch and more. Sponsorships and Tee Signs are available.
All proceeds benefit the Delray Beach Public Library, a 501c3 that has been serving the community since 1913. You can have fun and help us raise 20% of our yearly non-profit operating budget so we can continue our great level of service.
