Holiday Fun in Downtown Delray Beach

Join in the spirit of this magical season with a celebration of holiday cheer!
Downtown Delray Beach is the perfect destination for Very Merry Mondays, live entertainment, and beautiful décor from twinkle lights and wreaths, to store windows and a 100 ft. lighted holiday tree.

Update: The 100′ Tree is Now Lit and looks beautiful.
No lighting ceremony his year and no inside viewing.

Delray Beach Ornament Giveaway | November 27-28th
Spend $200 at Downtown Delray businesses and receive an exclusive Delray Beach 2020 Holiday Ornament!  Receipts must be from a downtown Delray Beach business with purchase made on Nov 27th or 28th.  Redeem ornaments on Nov. 28th – ornament giveaway locations TBD.

Very Merry Mondays | November 30 – December 21
Head to Downtown Delray Beach on Mondays for some Holiday Cheer!  Throughout the holidays, every Monday from 4-7pm, Downtown Merchants and the DDA will celebrate the season in a different neighborhood. We welcome guests to bring a toy for the Delray Beach Toy Drive and in exchange will receive Secret Santa tickets for a chance to win some goodies to Downtown Delray.  We hope you stay awhile to get to know & shop local merchants while enjoying festive entertainment and treats!
Dates and locations:
Mondays from 4pm – 7pm
11/30 | East Atlantic Avenue Stroll (Swinton to 6th Avenue) 
12/7 | West Atlantic Stroll (I95 to Swinton)  
12/14 | Beachside Stroll (6th Avenue to A1A)

12/21 | Pineapple Grove Stroll (NE 2nd Avenue and North)

100 ft. Christmas Tree | December 5 – January 1
About the 100ft. Christmas Tree:
One of the best trees in the USA – For 26 years, Delray residents and visitors alike have marveled at our Famous 100 Ft Christmas Tree. In 2016 it was named by Travel & Leisure the best Tree in the state of Florida, right up there with the trees at Rockefeller Center and the White House. Building the Tree is a month-long community event that brings together people of all ages and all walks of life. 

*This year the Tree interior will be closed due to COVID-19, however you can still visit and marvel at the light and joy this massive tree brings to the season!

Downtown Holiday Window Decorating Contest | December 1 – December 25, 2020
Downtown Delray Beach is hosting a Holiday Décor Window Contest and businesses are creating festive displays in their windows and throughout their stores.  Stroll downtown from December 1 – December 20 and vote for your favorite merchant for the #peopleschoiceaward.  A panel of Judges will also vote on different categories.

Holiday Décor throughout Downtown Delray Beach

Compliments of the Delray Beach DDA:

  • A beautiful Sphere Tree with twinkle lights at the visitor Information Center at Atlantic Avenue and A1A;
  • Twinkle lights and nautical motif on the Delray Beach Pavilion on the beachside at Atlantic Avenue and A1A;
  • 26 Holiday wreath displays on the NW and SW 5th Ave. light poles;
  • Twinkle lights and holiday decorations adorn the Libby Wesley Plaza at SW 5th Ave and Atlantic Avenue;
  • Pineapple painter palette displays on the light poles along Pineapple Grove Way;
  • Garland wrapped light poles with lighted wreaths and lighted beach themed décor adorn the light poles along Atlantic Avenue from I-95 to A1A.
