ART & JAZZ ON THE AVENUE IN DOWNTOWN DELRAY BEACH
OCTOBER 26, 2022 – BEACHSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD

Delray Beach, FL (September 15, 2022) … The Downtown Development Authority, in partnership with the Downtown Merchant and Business Association, is hosting Art & Jazz on the Avenue on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in downtown Delray Beach. Stroll the Beachside Neighborhood on East Atlantic Avenue from Venetian Drive to Andrews Avenue in a closed street style format, experience live performances at the East Atlantic Ave. and Gleason Street stage, as well as pop up musicians in several locations, art, culture, food, an interactive kids’ zone, and special promotions by merchants.

Location: Beachside Neighborhood – On East Atlantic Avenue from Venetian Drive to Andrews Avenue, downtown Delray Beach, FL. 

Cost: FREE and fun for all ages

Art & Activities:
Live artist painting, interactive artist vendors, Plein Air pop up with live painting, selfie opportunities and photo booth with Gypsea Blu, a restored beachy vintage1970 VW Westfalia bus, interactive kids’ zone with face painting, caricaturist and games, retail vendors, and local food and retail merchant activations.

Musical Entertainment:
Live entertainment at E. Atlantic and Gleason Street Stage plus pop-up live entertainment in select locations throughout the event.

The famed Art and Jazz on the Avenue, aka “Jazz on the Ave” or “Art and Jazz” is an event which highlights local businesses, artists, and live entertainment. These events occur in a different downtown neighborhood, encouraging community participation, and providing all with the opportunity to have a little fun.
