AVDA's Third Annual Heart of a Woman Luncheon on February 9, 2010.
Silent auction begins at 11:00 and a lovely lunch at the Royal Palm Yacht Club follows.

This year's speaker is Child Advocate, Teacher and Actor, Victor Rivas Rivers.
Victor Rivas Rivers who is an actor, athlete, advocate and author. He guest starred on countless shows including NUMBERS, CSI MIAMI, 24, STAR TREK, JAG, and MIAMI VICE.

This year's Honoree is Rosemary Krieger.

Individual admission to this fundraising event is $100.

:: Historic Downtown West Palm Beach Trolley Tours

Where: Palm Beach County History Museum at 300 N. Dixie Hwy., West Palm Beach

Time: 3:00 PM

The DDA and Historical Society of West Palm Beach have partnered to bring History Trolley Tours to the Downtown! The 45 minute tour takes place in the 1945 era just as World War II is ending. The tour is lead by "Evelyn Chapman", a character who is a West Palm Beach native and engaged to a serviceman returning home from the war. She takes patrons on a journey through the Clematis District's vibrant development and distinctive architectural styles, from the pioneering days of the early 1900s and the real estate boom of the 1920s, to the continued revitalization present today.

The tours begin and end at the Palm Beach County History Museum at 300 N. Dixie Hwy. The tours are just $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and under.
