Local Band Arrivederci's Album Release Party Saturday, August 22, 2009, At Taverna Opa Cityplace In West Palm Beach, Florida Will Benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters Of Palm Beach County
West Palm Beach, FL -- Taverna Opa at CityPlace will be rocking out for a good cause on Saturday night, August 22, 2009, when local band Arrivederci -- aka AVD The Band -- performs songs from their premiere album, "Goodbye." The celebration, dubbed Party with a Purpose, will benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Palm Beach County and will be hosted by John Temerian of SUPERCAR INC. Taverna Opa owner, Lirim Jacobi, will be donating 10 percent of proceeds, from bar sales, during the party (which will run from 10:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.) that evening, to this worthy local charity.

Jacobi says, "We are pleased to be supporting a fabulous local band and proud to be benefiting an extremely worthy cause. We invite everyone to Party with a Purpose!"

"This party truly reflects our dedication to the community on several levels," adds Taverna Opa Operations Director Miguel Harding.

This local electro-pop band, which has garnered a devoted following since they debuted in 2007, is comprised of musicians Timothee Lovelock, Adam Piccoli, and Zack Gracius. This talented trio has created a distinctive sound that has been inspired by their love for the music of Maroon 5, Cold Play, Michael Jackson, and Kanye West.

CDs of "Goodbye" will be available for sale, during the party, along with band tee shirts.
