This is the season-opening show in the newly-refurbished Main Street Playhouse at 6766 Main St., Miami Lakes. This cult classic musical contains several show-stopping musical numbers including "Downtown" and "Suddenly Seymour". The story is about Seymour, a young man who works in a florist's store, collects rare plants and is in love with Audrey, who also works in the store. One day Seymour finds a new and unique plant, and later he learns it will only thrive on meals of fresh blood. The plant grows... and grows...
