Downtown Hollywood Dream Car Classic, held the first Sunday of the month through May, features pre-1976 cars, music and family-fun activities. Admission is free; car show registration is $15. A variety of trophies and other prizes are awarded, with a free magnetic dash plaque for every vehicle and a car photo for the first 150 to register. Car show entrance is at 20th Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard; registration begins at 9 a.m. Presented by the Downtown Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency.

:: Discovering Chimpanzees: The Remarkable World of Jane Goodall- through May 13th

This traveling exhibit is open through May 13th at Dr. Wilde's World, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM You will be immersed in the forest environment of the Gombe National Park in Tanzania, meeting Dr. Goodall's now famous chimpanzee subjects, and getting an up-close look at them as they fight, hunt, play and communicate with each other. You'll see how Dr. Goodall's relationship with the chimps evolves from one of strictly scientific interest to one of devotion and a firm commitment to chimpanzee survival, through four distinct exhibit areas: The Chimp Forest, The Work of Jane Goodall, Primates and Reason for Hope. :: Music in the Park featuring Florida Youth Orchestra
Where: Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton
Join sponsors--- the City of Boca Raton, Mercantile Bank, Florida Health & Chiropractic Medicine, ----as they present FLORIDA YOUTH ORCHESTRA---as part of the "Music In The Park" Concert Series. A special afternoon program of various contemporary and classical musical selections has been prepared by this 125-member orchestra The Orchestra, as a not-for-profit, self-supporting musical group, was started in 1988 by WTVJ-Channel 6 weatherman, Bob Weaver, and his wife, Myra, to showcase the musical talents of area students, ages 5-19. The 4:00pm performance takes place the Mizner Park Amphitheater, Bring along a blanket or chair (chairs are also available for rent by the Boca Raton High School Band Boosters), relax and enjoy the best of entertainment for the entire family. Pick up a schedule of upcoming concerts, along with food treats, which are available for purchase to benefit the Boca Raton High School Band Boosters. Parking is available in several garages located in the Mizner Park shopping area. Admission to all concerts is free.

With the combination of Jerry Herman's award winning score and Harvey Fierstein's book, it is a feel good, laugh out loud story about a gay couple, George and Albin, and the adventures that occur when George's son comes to visit with his fiance and her ultra-conservative parents. The hit film Bird Cage, which was filmed on South Beach, is yet another adaptation of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.
