The festival will feature local artists, up and coming jazz acts, a children's jazz concert and major jazz stars. With the 2006 premiere, featuring Arturo Sandoval as a smash success with over 3,700 patrons attending, the jazz festival is being expanded for its inaugural year. =0D=0A= With a total of over 20 GRAMMYs represented in this festival, we are proud to have renowned jazz legends performing at the event. Thanks to his recent PBS concert "Chris Botti and Friends" with Sting, Burt Bacharach and many others, he has received critical acclaim. The evening also features renowned jazz pianist David Benoit and a performance by The Rippingtons, who celebrate their 20th anniversary this season! =0D=0A= Sunday's concert will be an evening to remember. Two jazz giants, Chick Corea & Gary Burton take the stage. With over 15 GRAMMY's combined, these artists are the quintessential jazz masters. Both authorities in their own fields, together they promise a concert of monumental proportions. =0D=0A= The festival will also introduce two new artists to the South Florida scene. Sophie Milman , performing on Sunday, is currently the number one downloaded jazz vocalist on iTunes and has a style all her own. Her self-titled debut album was a breakthrough jazz album of the year and remains in the years top 5 selling albums along side Diana Krall and Michael Buble. Also featured will be artist Lisa Yves and her renowned Jazz for Kids Series that will feature over 50 children each day at the festival.
